Kapil Bishnoi

Founder & Chief Executive · Bishnoi Cloud Cyber Defence

A decade of responding to intrusions across Indian banking and manufacturing led to a simple argument: enterprises here were buying foreign security tools with nobody local to run them at 3 a.m. Bishnoi Cloud exists to be the people who do.

Security is not a product you buy. It is somebody staying awake so you don’t have to.

The long version

01The response yearsKapil spent his early career on incident response teams, walking into manufacturing plants and bank branches after the damage was already done. The pattern never changed: good products, no operators, and nobody awake when the intrusion actually started.
02Founding Bishnoi CloudIn 2026 he founded Bishnoi Cloud from a small office in Vadiwadi, Vadodara, with three other responders and one rule — the person who answers the alert must be able to stop the attack. That rule still shapes hiring, shift design and the five-minute human triage promise.
03Detection over dashboardsHe leads detection engineering and the Bhoomi Intel research unit, which tracks ransomware crews and BEC syndicates aimed at Indian industry, translating live intrusions into detections that ship the same week.
04Running the watchToday he oversees SOC operations from Vadodara, keeping an analyst — not a ticket queue — on the other end of every alert at any hour.

How he runs the company

Assume the breach

Design every control for the day it fails, then rehearse that day with the customer's team.

Analysts over dashboards

Automation contains, people decide. A human reads every alert.

Engineers, not resellers

We build the detections we depend on instead of forwarding somebody else's licence.
